				Overview:

The Associate Project Manager will contribute to Leviton product development efforts through the facilitation of low complexity product development projects and supporting project teams in securing and maintaining product regulatory compliance.  This individual will collaborate with virtually all departments within Leviton including Product Management, Manufacturing, QA, Marketing, Sourcing, and others.  

Please note, this position is on-site and employee must work in our Melville, NY facility;

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position nor is relocation.

Responsibilities:

* Project Management 

* Facilitates cross-functional teams for low complexity product development projects, ensuring that all activities are in conformance with company's established PDI process 

* Develops, manages, and reports on the project plan, schedule, and budget 

* Applies sound meeting management techniques; provides agendas and manages to them, generating and publishing meeting minutes with associated action items, etc.  

* Regulatory: 

* Collaborates closely with Engineering and Product Management to secure and maintain product regulatory compliance 

* Provides guidance to product development teams regarding cost and lead-time to secure regulatory certifications 

* Facilitate regulatory submittals for Bothell new product development and sustaining projects, including issuing RFQs, entering requisitions, coordination between Leviton engineers and regulatory agency, monitoring progress, and issuing notification when submittal is complete   

* Works closely with third-party regulatory bodies to ensure timely service delivery, control costs, and to resolve conflicts 

Qualifications:

* Technologically savvy
* Self-starter, skilled at solving problems, 
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to prioritize, multitask and utilize time management skills 
* Ability to define and implement solutions to problems resulting from processes or procedural issues 

* Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project 
* The position requires the employee to work on-site in our Melville, NY facility.
