Overview: Associate Project Manager Location: Remote - Colombia | Remote About the Role The Associate Project Manager is responsible for coordinating customer implementation projects from initiation through project closure, including project scheduling and coordination, budget control, non-conformity resolution, and risk management. This is an entry-level to early-career project management role focused on managing small to moderately complex customer implementations, operating under limited oversight and aligned with established project management methodologies. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's what you'll do. * Utilize the Project Implementation Methodology and related tools to bring projects to successful completion within scope, on time, and within budget. * Develop, maintain, and track project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and action items. * Manage timely and effective communication with key customer and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor project scope against contractual commitments and escalate potential out-of-scope requests appropriately. * Identify, track, communicate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and customer decision delays in a timely and appropriate manner. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Services, Sales, Support) to ensure alignment and successful customer outcomes. Role Essentials * Bachelor's degree, equivalent international qualification, or relevant professional experience * Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with discretion and tact * Proven facilitation and project management skills with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities * Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office * Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed and cross-cultural teams, with regular overlap required for North American business hours * Willingness to travel approximately 30% annually, with flexibility based on region and customer needs What We'd Like to See * Experience supporting customer-facing implementation or professional services projects * Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI) * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete projects in a timely and organized manner * Ability to support customer engagements across global time zones * Proficiency/fluency in English, both written and verbal About Hyland Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud(tm), delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation.
