Associate I - Architecture

				Overview:

Merrick is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Associate / Architectural Designer with three (3) to five(5) years of work experience to support projects based out of our growing San Antonio, Texas office.  Must be team oriented, self-starting and focused on producing good design.

Annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $72,000. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities:

This individual will work in a multi-disciplinary design studio, producing construction documents, and will possess the desire for individual growth and eventual licensure in the architectural profession. The Associate Architect will collaborate with other drafters/designers under the direction of a licensed architect and must be able to follow directions and schedules, work independently, and possess good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

* Three (3) to five (5) years experience as a designer in Architecture.
* Proficient in Revit, 3D modeling programs (Sketch Up & Revit preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Master's degree in architecture.
* Client projects for this position require sole U.S. Citizenship.
* Local candidates only.
