Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and review of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), includes assisting and reviewing the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences;
* Lead the review of foreign income tax returns (which are prepared by external consultants) and other cross border related matters such as Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing;
* Work closely with the Sr. Director of tax, CFO and other executive leadership regarding Tax strategy and compliance;
* Oversee completion of federal (Form 1120 & 5471's) and state income tax returns, including all related analysis and support;
* Perform in-depth tax research and evaluate alternative interpretations of key provisions in the US Internal Revenue Code using excellent professional judgment;
* Coach, counsel and educate necessary Finance personnel and company leadership in tax related matters;
* Manage the relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service;
* Identify and implement tax planning initiatives as tax jurisdictions and the business permit.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree plus a CPA or Master's degree;
* 14+ years of tax experience;
* Prior management experience preferred;
* Advanced knowledge of federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research;
* Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred;
* Ability to supervise, oversee and provide direction to team members;
* Ability to demonstrate effective communication including positive influencing skills, listening, and appropriate delegation;
* Advanced analytical skills and the ability to review the analysis of others to ensure accuracy;
* Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business;
* Ability to take ownership for projects and drive to timely completion.
