What You Can Expect

Qualifications
* Education: Advanced degree; J.D. or LL.M
* Experience: 0 years experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Must be a member of the Idaho Bar within one year
Responsibilities:
The Associate Counsel 1 provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues.
* Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks.
* Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
* Ensures the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
* Assists with representation of the organization in legal matters.
* Assists with governance, litigation and risk management activities.
* Works closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, and/or various stakeholders.
* May help represent and defend the organization against suits and claims.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
