Responsibilities:
* Associate Consultant - AWS DevOps role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with a world-class team, develop enterprise-class DevOps solutions, and lead delivery initiatives that drive innovation and continuous improvement. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate their cloud journeys by architecting solutions that streamline development, release, testing, and operations.
* Engage with clients to understand their requirements and architect solutions that streamline their development, release, testing, and operations processes
* Lead delivery teams in customer workshops and coordinate with multiple partners in the client hierarchy to articulate and frame end-to-end solutions
* Develop and implement DevOps solutions for hybrid scenarios using AWS, Azure, GCP, and relevant open-source/third-party technologies
* Define cloud-based architectures that cater to client needs and requirements
* Analyze complex application landscapes, anticipate potential problems, and align DevOps with cloud roadmaps and solution architectures
* Facilitate critical analysis, extraction, and management of systems to ensure flawless execution and minimal errors
* Strive for continuous improvement by building CI/CD pipelines and detecting early errors, bugs, and issues
* Monitor and measure customer experience along with important metrics
* Manage periodic reporting on progress to both management and customers
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, or a related field preferred
* 5 - 8 years of experience delivering cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AWS technologies
* Proven experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migrations and cloud-to-cloud migrations
* Extensive knowledge and familiarity with cloud security standard methodologies and network configurations
* Experience in container architecture, Docker universal packaging, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and microservices architecture patterns
* Expert-level experience in deploying applications using modern DevOps technologies (e.g., New Relic, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack)
* Expertise in working with source code management tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
* Experience in selecting and managing build infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to streamline the deployment of applications to Kubernetes and Docker-managed containers
* Excellent knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Redhat, CentOS, DNS, LDAP, TCP/IP, and other network protocols
* Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible
* Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
* Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
* Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services and capabilities
* Certifications
* Must Have (any): Azure DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
* Good to Have: TOGAF, ITIL, Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
