Fair-Rite Products is looking for a hands-on Assistant Team Leader to help lead our Finishing Department. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, working with precision tools, and helping others succeed, we want to hear from you.

This is more than just a production position. You'll be a key member of our leadership team, supporting daily operations in Grinding, Burnishing, and Lapping while helping drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

* Lead by example on the production floor.
* Support and motivate team members to achieve daily production goals.
* Train employees on equipment, processes, and quality standards.
* Assist with scheduling work and establishing department priorities.
* Troubleshoot production challenges and help implement solutions.
* Monitor product quality and ensure customer specifications are met.
* Support equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
* Assist with performance evaluations and employee development.
* Maintain production records and analyze performance data.
* Foster a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience
✅Leadership, supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience in a manufacturing environment

✅ Experience with precision manufacturing processes such as:

* Grinding
* Lapping
* Burnishing
* Machining
* Tooling setup
* Quality inspection

✅ Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:

* Micrometers
* Calipers
* Gauges
* Comparators
* Other precision inspection tools

✅ Ability to read and interpret:

* Blueprints
* Engineering drawings
* Specifications
* Quality standards
