Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing leadership to department staff. Ensures operational goals are met, supports budget compliance, and upholds exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to team members to ensure departmental goals and performance standards are achieved.
* Coordinate staff scheduling and address any scheduling concerns in collaboration with the manager, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
* Monitor and support adherence to departmental budgets and financial objectives.
* Promote and model superior customer service in alignment with company standards; ensure team members consistently deliver high-quality service and address any service-related issues promptly.
* Oversee the functionality and efficiency of slot machines and related gaming equipment during assigned shifts.
* Authorize and verify jackpot payments in accordance with established procedures.
* Respond to service light calls and escalate technical issues to Slot Technicians as needed.
* Report customer concerns and operational issues to management in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies within the area of responsibility.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company and departmental matters.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required; or a minimum of six months to one year of experience in Slot Operations or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet business demands.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with Slot operating systems is preferred.
* Solid mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
* Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with company standards.
* Must obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
* Must obtain and maintain a state-issued responsible vendor permit.
