The Assistant Site Manager (ASM) is responsible for overall personnel scheduling, work supervision and quality control with a focus on ensuring all safety and quality requirements of the performance work statement are met. The ASM shall have authority to act on matters relating to the daily operation of this task order and shall function as the Site Manager in his/her absence. Services provided shall include Recreation, Fitness, Maintenance and Custodial, Warehouse Management, Linen Exchange and Hospital Aseptic Maintenance services as specified in the Performance Work Statement. The ASM reports to the Site Manager.
Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the management, execution, and personnel supervision as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
* Responsible for providing Installation Support Services on a 24/7/365 basis.
* Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, leading by example, working as a team and providing clean, friendly and well-maintained recreation centers.
* Prepares reports, enforces safety and performance standards through the execution of internal audits and inspections.
* Maintains the customer service comment program and ensures professional responses are provided in the applicable time frames.
* Responsible for the maintenance and condition of the equipment in the assigned facilities.
* Ensure the annual 5-year equipment plans are created and maintained for each department.
* Shall ensure all applicable inventory actions are taken IAW the PWS.
* Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
* Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
* Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
* Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
* Shall perform as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Service functional areas and act as Site Manager in his/her absence.
* Responsible for preparing OCN Gate pass/IAA paperwork, scheduling screening appointments and transportation to and from appointments.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Other requirements:
* Work will be primarily indoors but may be outdoors to support various events.
* Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
* Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
* Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
* Task specific work environment training will be provided as required.
* Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests.
* 100% Overseas Assignment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required
* Must have a High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
* Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver's License.
* Must have an international driver's license and capability of obtaining an Air Force flight line driver's license and capable of driving a manual transmission, CDLA and forklift experience preferred.
* Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
* Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
* Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear.
Experience:
* A minimum of five years of experience in customer service management and operations. Management experience to include: performance management of employees, completed required reports, and excellent customer satisfaction results.
* Knowledgeable in Golden Eagle Standards and Tri-Service Food code.
* Knowledgeable of Air Force procurement processes
* Experience with Military Leadership
* Prior Military experience preferred
* Previous experience in Air Force Support Services field or Dept. /Section experience preferred
Skills:
* Great communication, teamwork, decision making, and customer service skills.
* Capable of operating and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment.
* Must be skilled with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
* Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
* Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
