Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our elite Waterway Structures team! From massive dams and locks to intricate piers and breakwaters, our projects are as unique as the environments they protect. Join our team and help shape the nation's waterfronts!

You'll lead talented design teams through the entire project lifecycle from the first site investigation to final construction. Whether you're working from the office or utilizing our remote work flexibility, you'll be at the forefront of sustainable engineering, protecting our most valuable resources while delivering world-class solutions.

Responsibilities:

Project & Financial Management

* Deliver complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet strict budget constraints, aggressive schedules, and high client standards.
* Drive project profitability through proactive resource allocation, risk mitigation, and strategic financial oversight.
* Monitor operational metrics by analyzing monthly labor and cost reports to ensure project performance aligns with established corporate benchmarks.
* Manage administrative workflows for assigned teams, including the oversight of timesheet approvals, performance evaluations, and daily operational supervision.

Business Development & Client Strategy

* Cultivate long-term partnerships with key clients while identifying and capturing opportunities to expand the firm's market share.
* Spearhead business growth by identifying service gaps for existing clients and pursuing high-value leads with new prospects.
* Architect comprehensive proposals, defining project scopes and fee structures that balance competitive pricing with technical rigor.

Leadership & Compliance

* Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering their growth in technical expertise and business acumen while aligning their progress with corporate objectives.
* Champion a culture of safety by ensuring strict adherence to company health and safety programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of project management experience OR a bachelor's degree/PM certification with equivalent professional experience. 
* Ability to lead multi-discipline projects for private, state, and federal clients. 
* Prior experience with MS Project, MS Office, and PDF editing software. 
* Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $100,000 to $115,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
