In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Supports the development of project phasing and scheduling
* Assists in preparing schedules for planning, design, and construction activities
* Helps monitor project schedules and budget to support on-time, on-budget delivery
* Maintains communication with contractors, construction managers, and clients to support project coordination
* Contributes to the development and review of project procedures and policies
* Assists in addressing issues raised in field reports from architects and construction management staff
* Coordinates with the architect/engineer of record on change orders, contract interpretation, and technical matters to support quality and code compliance
* Prepares field memoranda or directives under the guidance of senior staff to support contract compliance
* Exercises judgment on-site within defined parameters, escalating complex issues to senior team members
* Reviews and documents contractors' claims or disputes and provides input to senior management
* Conducts site visits as needed to assist with project oversight
* Performs related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
* 5+ years' of related experience
* E-builder experience
* Able to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must possess a driver's license
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00, based on experience and geographic location.
