Responsibilities:
In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center philosophy, the Assistant Nurse Manager in the
Infusion Suite manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates the plan of care
with the health care team. Assumes a visible leadership role in the unit. Responsible for facilitating a
work environment that values professional nursing practice, support autonomy, encourages
collaborative relationships and promotes communications up and down the corporate chain of
command. Responsible for overseeing the completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety
reviews, CPR license renewals, and maintaining continuing education as required by hospital policy. In
addition to these responsibilities, the Assistant Nurse Manager may be assigned other duties of an
administrative nature. This position is under the supervision of the Director of Oncology.

Qualifications:
Position Qualifications:
* Current California Registered Nurse License
* CPR - BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
* OCN Certification preferred
* Possess the necessary skills in the administration of chemotherapy drugs.
Working knowledge of various venous access devices.
* Knowledge of and practices CDC standards regarding exposure to blood and other body fluids.
* Possesses in-depth knowledge of medical disorders associated with cancer and chemotherapy.
