Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring an Asset Manager/Specialist to support our with our US Coast Guard program. This position will be located within Kearneysville, WV and will be a hybrid remote position. Responsibilities: * Tracks and monitors company-owned assets from initial purchase throughout the asset life cycle. * Analyzes asset levels to ensure efficient allocation of resources. * Maintains accurate records of asset location through asset tracking system. * Prepares reports for management. * Reviews asset management process to make improvements in cost-effectiveness of program and process quality improvements. * May create contracts/licensing agreements with clients, vendors, and suppliers. * Recognized as subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional. * Conducts highly complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment. Qualifications: Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience * Clearance Required: Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance Preferred Skills and Experience * US Coast Guard experience highly preferred
