				Overview:

* Tier One Technologies is looking for an Assessment and Authorization Project Manager to support our direct US Government client. 
* This hybrid contract-to-hire position can be located in Morrisville, NC or Falls Church, VA or Eagan, MN.
* SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

* Provide overall strategic management by defining program scope and objectives while managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
* Develop project management plans and documentation, including work breakdown structures, project schedules, integrated master schedules, financial reports, and risk management documentation.
* Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional team operations, including analysts, engineers, and other team members, to ensure cohesive execution of the insider risk mission.
* Deliver detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts related to client-specific or mission-critical challenges. 
* Help clients to clearly define needs and address key issues.

Qualifications:

* A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services. 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required. If an individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience is required.
* 13+ years of experience in IT Project Management or related field.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar credential is a PLUS.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to successful completion, including defining project scope and objectives, creating project plans/schedules, establishing and tracking metrics, and engaging with and guiding stakeholders at all management and leadership levels.
* Strong organizational skills sufficient to plan, coordinate, track and manage several ongoing and complex efforts, including retirements and remnant clean-up of applications across the organization; revisions of outdated compliance reviews for hundreds of information resources; ongoing updates to vital documents.
* Prior experience in process of retiring applications/systems across large organizations, including verification of remnant removal, minimizing security risks to the organization, and ability to advise application stakeholders through the process.
* Knowledge of or experience with the SDLC Retirement/Decommission process.
* Strong written and oral communications skills, including ability to create project-related and training documentation, and ability to prepare presentations and brief executives, managers, and peers.
* Experience in Information Security and understanding of the information resource accreditation process.
* Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity policies and processes sufficient to review, understand and provide inputs to internal security policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documents.
* Ability to create SharePoint sites, including Team sites, and demonstrated experience in customizing and managing content on SharePoint sites, including documents, lists, and libraries.
* Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
* Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
* Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
* Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
* Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
