Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities 

* Asphalt laboratory testing to match current NSPW requirements - Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in both a central lab and mobile lab environment;
* Familiar with current NSPW End-Product-Specification Asphalt specifications and familiarity with asphalt mix properties to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed;
* Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding;
* Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor;
* Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions; and,
* Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

Qualifications:

What makes you unique

* Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent) considered an asset;
* Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
* CCIL Asphalt Technician Certification;
* Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
* Valid driver's license; and,
* Willingness and ability to travel throughout Nova Scotia on a required basis.
