Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities * Asphalt laboratory testing to match current LS Manual, OPSS, and ASTM requirements - Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in mainly a central lab environment and occasionally in a mobile lab environment. * Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding. * Data entry using basic software. * Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor. * Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions. * Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules. Qualifications: What makes you unique * Technical Diploma in a field related to Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; * Experience in Asphalt Laboratory and testing is mandatory; * Soil and Aggregate testing an asset but not mandatory; * More than 2 years of experience in construction/highway materials sampling and testing; * CSA, CCIL or ACI certification (asset); * Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly; * Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding; * Data entry using basic software; * Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor; * Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules. Demonstrated interest and sensitivity towards occupational health and safety.
