Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities * Field inspection and testing during placement of hot-mix asphalt to match current DTI requirements - including overseeing sampling, coring, temperature and compaction verification, etc; Familiar with current DTI End-Result-Specification Asphalt specifications including sampling intervals, and placement requirements; * Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding; * Reviewing roadway for damage prior to, and following paving operations; * Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor; * Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions; * Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules. Qualifications: What makes you unique * Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent); * Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field; * Team-oriented and an excellent communicator; * Valid driver's license; * Willingness and ability to travel on a required basis.
