Responsibilities: Middleware Architech Colombia Are you happiest when you can automate the repetitive work and make platforms safer, faster, and more reliable every week? Are you motivated by preventing issues rather than constantly reacting to them? As a Middleware Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous evolution of enterprise platforms. You will work across infrastructure, middleware, and automation, contributing to resilient environments that support business‑critical operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands‑on technical expertise with a proactive, improvement‑driven mindset. What a day-to-day in this role looks like: * Start the day reviewing platform health, priorities, and potential risks before they impact service. * Work on improving stability and efficiency through automation, standardization, and preventive practices. * Collaborate with technical teams to support secure, reliable, and scalable environments. * Troubleshoot issues when they arise, focusing on root cause and long‑term improvement. * Document changes and contribute to continuous improvement and service resilience. Qualifications: * Strong experience working with middleware, infrastructure, and platform environments. * Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts. * A security‑first mindset, with experience managing patches, vulnerabilities, and access controls. * Experience supporting CI/CD processes and automation initiatives. * Strong problem‑solving skills, especially in production and critical environments. * Ability to work proactively, anticipating issues rather than reacting to them.
