Responsibilities:
As a Security Professional - Armed in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .
As an armed patrol officer at this cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This armed post requires annual firearms requalification training. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity while supporting a secure environment for all.

Pay Rate: $25.55 / Hour
Requires at least 1 year of Military of Police Experience
Must have a valid State of MI CPL

Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
* Monitor the environment for unusual activity and report any concerns according to site protocols.
* Interact with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.
* Support access control measures and verify credentials as required by site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must have completed Firearms Annual Requalification Training or be willing to complete this training post hire.
* Must possess an Armed Designation or be eligible to obtain one as required by law.
* Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
