Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will carry out armed duties in line with site requirements. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, staff, and authorized visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
* Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance, and completing required notifications and reports.
* Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, managing entry and exit points, screening for prohibited items per site policy, and directing visitors to appropriate processing areas.
* Observe, report, and assist with enforcement of post orders related to inmate and/or detainee movement, transportation details, and perimeter integrity, helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
