Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol in Elizabethtown, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.  Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor management, access control, and de-escalation support in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal standards.
* Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by coordinating with staff and/or first responders, helping to manage scene control, traffic flow, and access during urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required by state and/or local law.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
* Handcuffing certification is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
