Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Armed Handcuff in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .
As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within financial institution locations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
* Document and communicate any incidents or irregularities according to site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License (NC: Armed SP Lic).
* Must have an Armed Designation, authorizing the carrying of a firearm while on duty.
* Must be qualified and authorized to carry handcuffs while on duty.
* Must be qualified and authorized to carry pepper spray while on duty.
* Must be qualified and authorized to carry a sidearm while on duty.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
