As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will drive between assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with shoppers and staff, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to staff and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, back-of-house areas, and exterior perimeter, as assigned. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and lost and found situations per post orders. * Monitor for suspicious activity and policy violations and help to deter theft and/or property damage through high-visibility presence and timely communication with site leadership and/or local authorities when directed. * Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only. * Must be able to ride a bike. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
