Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Lake Charles, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to staff, members, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter grounds, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
* Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to support controlled access and orderly operations.
* Maintain a professional armed presence while following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable laws and/or regulations, and complete required reports before the end of each shift.
Minimum Requirements:
* Possess an armed guard card or license.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
