Responsibilities:

 As a Armed Security Officer Access Control  in Peoria, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.  What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
* Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and assist with visitor and employee screening in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
* Support emergency and evacuation procedures, render assistance within post guidelines, and maintain detailed incident logs, daily activity reports, and other required records.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
* Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
