Overview: Panasonic Connect is searching for a strong sales-oriented individual eager to help grow and expand sales of rugged mobility solutions in a mixed market of existing accounts and net-new prospects, under the mentorship and day-to-day direction of the assigned Territory Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be open to learning new technologies and working with customers in the Public Sector space, demonstrating a keen appreciation for public safety, mission critical organizations. They should have the ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team to develop new prospects and existing business opportunities. Ideal candidate resides in Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennesse, or Louisiana. Responsibilities: Sales/Account Management/Customer Service * Attain a minimum of 100% of assigned sales quota. * Develop business relationships with assigned End Users, Distributors, Resellers, and other Third-Party Partners through close communication, including but not limited to personal, face-to-face visits, tradeshows, and events. * Promote new and key products and solutions to this customer-base through customer meetings, presentations, tradeshows, and site visits. * Execute on sales and marketing programs designed to generate brand awareness and customer demand for assigned products and solutions. * Manage the Show Sample Loan (SSL) program with assigned accounts and ensure customers are conducting tests, demonstrations, and competitive trials with our devices and solutions by providing sales support and coordinating technical support, as needed. Ensure SSLs are an effective sales tool with our customers. * Assist our customers and Territory Account Managers in managing customer service issues by ensuring the appropriate resources are involved to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention. Prospecting and Net-New Accounts * Collect leads and identify prospective customers by participating in tradeshows and other in-person demand generation events throughout the assigned territory or set of accounts. * Conduct "cold-calling" phone campaigns or in person visits to identify new customers, partners, and opportunities, and increase our net-new sales pipeline. * Collaborate with Resellers and other partners in the capture, development, and fulfillment of net-new business and expanded sales coverage. * Assist the Territory Account Management with the management of mid-segment and small opportunities and prospects. Product and Solutions Knowledge * Ensure a proficient level of knowledge about the functionality, main specifications, use cases, applications, and competitive differentiators of our products/solutions; and be able to communicate those clearly and concisely to multiple audiences. * Attend and participate in internal product and solutions trainings, webinars, and updates, and incorporate this knowledge in sales and business development. * Maintain a basic level of awareness about industry trends and technological advancements. Sales Administration and Pipeline Management * Maintain and update current records of all sales activities in our CRM, including Contacts, Activities, Meeting Notes, Quotes, Sales Forecast, SSL, Products/Solutions, and overall Progress Notes on the status of all assigned Accounts and Opportunities. * Assist the Territory Account Manager and the National Sales Manager with accurate Sales and Factory Forecasts, ensuring all SKUs, PO Dates, Progress Notes, and Pipeline Stages are properly documented with a high degree of accuracy. * Adopt and utilize our Sales Methodology to assist in the creation of a sales strategy and execution plan which results in the highest sales close rate. Attend and participate in all internal meetings and sales training. Qualifications: Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent * 1-3 Years of Technology Sales to End Users * Experience working with Distributors, Resellers, and other Partners is a plus * Experience in Public Safety is a plus * Strong interpersonal and communications skills in a sales and/or business development environment is required Key Competencies * Works effectively with other team members to execute organizational goals. * Listens actively to customer needs and works with the team to propose compelling solutions to those requirements. * Has strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and customer commitments. * Works independently in a field-based role and is a good steward of company resources, including Travel & Entertainment facilities. * Adjusts well to changing internal-company and external-market conditions; demonstrates flexibility and adaptability. * Exhibits uncompromising integrity with all internal and external customers and key work partners. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
