Applications Analyst Sr (Exempt)

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Performs complex EHR systems analysis, providing technical guidance and expert advice on the processes, procedures, and system flows critical to the information management and strategic goals of Infirmary Health (IH) and other entities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

One of the following:

* Bachelor's degree
* Associate's degree and 2 years of health information systems experience
* 5 of the most recent 7 years' experience working with health information systems

Considerable knowledge of and experience with EHR system design from involvement in moderately complex projects within a healthcare setting

Demonstrated ability to analyze system requirements and translate user needs into effective healthcare IT solutions
 
Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in health informatics or computer science

Extensive experience in systems analysis with a proven track record of successful project design, development, and implementation specifically within Epic EHR systems

Certification in relevant Epic modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient Clinical System, or other specialized Epic certifications
