				Overview:

CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a quality driven, patient-centered  Anesthesiologist  to join our team in  Omaha, Nebraska. The practice offers the ability to work alongside colleagues, teach medical students and surgery residents while practicing and directing CRNAs in a full-spectrum practice. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians seeking a diverse practice, including trauma.

This opportunity offers:

* Team of 18 FT physicians and 45 CRNA's
* 391 bed - Level I Trauma Center
* Academic Facility
* Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs
* Accreditation in process for Anesthesia residency program and SRNA program
* Wide variety of cases including General, Trauma, Ortho, Endo, Vascular, Urology, OB, Neuro and Cardiac
* Acute Pain Service 
* EPIC EMR
* Academic appointment available, if desired, from Creighton University School of Medicine
* Team covers main CUMC campus in addition to CHI Midlands Health Ambulatory Surgery Center

Job Requirements:

* Comfortable Supervising CRNA's
* ABA Board certified or Board eligible 
* Ability to obtain Nebraska Licensure
* ACLS and BLS certification

* Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

* Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
* Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

* Quality Improvement:
* Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
* Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
* Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

* Compliance:
* Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
* Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
* Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

* Continuous Learning:
* Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
* Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
* Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

* American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
* A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
