Responsibilities:
As our Anesthesiologist, you will join a collegial, well-established anesthesia team of five anesthesiologists and eleven CRNAs serving CHI Health St. Francis and Grand Island Ambulatory Surgery Center. This newly created position supports the continued growth of our surgical services and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced physicians, new graduates, and visa candidates alike. You'll become part of a family-friendly culture known for its low turnover, strong mentorship, and collaborative approach to patient care. With an academic affiliation through Creighton University School of Medicine, you'll also have opportunities to participate in teaching and professional development if desired.Every day you will provide high-quality anesthetic care across a diverse range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, ENT, and neuroscience. You'll practice in state-of-the-art operating rooms that opened in 2021 and feature advanced technology, including the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system. Working alongside a collaborative team of surgeons, hospitalists, intensivists, and other subspecialists, you'll deliver exceptional perioperative care while helping meet the growing surgical needs of the community.To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist who is committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
