Responsibilities:
As an Anesthesiologist (MD) with Metropolitan Anesthesiology Consultants (MAC), you will join a thriving, all-MD group deeply committed to anesthesia excellence in vibrant Sacramento, CA. This pivotal role involves providing life-saving anesthesia care across a diverse range of specialties, including Level 2 trauma, general surgery, cardiology, neurosurgery, and more, leveraging advanced technology and supported by highly skilled anesthesia techs. We seek motivated individuals, from new graduates to experienced anesthesiologists, eager to build a lasting legacy within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Every day you will orchestrate safe and effective anesthesia for complex cases at Mercy San Juan Medical Center and local surgery centers, utilizing cutting-edge monitoring equipment like TEE, TTE, and GDFT. You will apply your highest-level skills across 10 ORs, specialized IR suites, MRI, and GI, managing a broad spectrum of patients. For new graduates, you will benefit from dedicated mentorship, seamlessly transitioning into independent and masterful practice within a supportive team that values true autonomy and collaboration.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a current MD license to practice anesthesia in California, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and a desire to continuously innovate within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, teamwork aptitude, and a proactive approach to professional development are essential. Experience in a Level 2 trauma setting or various subspecialties will be highly valued.

Qualifications:
Required
* Completion of ACGME accredited training program(s)
* Board certified or board eligible in General Anesthesiology
* Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
* 0+ years of post training practice experience
* Current California medical licensure or ability to obtain it
* Excellent clinical skills with robust clinical reasoning abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
