Procedures include OB, thoracic, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, and ENT. St. Joseph Medical Center is a level II trauma regional medical center with 385 beds. Procedures include OB, thoracic, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, and ENT. * 385 bed Level II Trauma, tertiary care medical center, non-profit, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and larger CommonSpirit Health Organization * Surgical specialties in OB, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Trauma, ENT as well as Gastroenterology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, and NeuroInterventional Radiology * Highly collaborative team and supportive Administration * Dedicated Anesthesia Practice and Operations Manager * Strong community connection, recognition, and support * Outstanding Quality / Outcomes - LeapFrog A, High Performing in 9 procedures/conditions per US News, Top 10 * Regionally Ranked Puget Sound hospitals per US News, CMS 4 stars * Opportunity to be engaged with a nationally-recognized performance improvement team - VMPS (Virginia Mason Production System) * Opportunity to work with several ACGME programs (general surgery, cardiology) and engage in future research if desired * Commitment to fostering an equitable, diverse and intentionally inclusive environment * Fully implemented use of Epic EMR Qualifications: * MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification/Eligible * Candidates should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency * Must have or be eligible for Washington State medical license * Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges * Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care to all in need All staff are expected to demonstrate and support our system's Values which include: Compassion -Care with listening, empathy and love. -Accompany and comfort those in need of healing.
