Overview:
* Schedule: Full time (40 hours), schedule is primarily M-F 10:30A-7P, but does require rotating weekends. Weekend schedule will be 6:30A-3P and this will be discussed further during an interview. Minimal holiday rotation (averages 1 holiday per year)
* Department: Anesthesiology
* Location: Forsyth Medical Center
* Department Info: 17 OR rooms, range of service lines.
* Position Information: Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures. Some specific duties include stocking supplies, assisting with turnover, and offering general support as needed. Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment. Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources.
* Previous similar experience is preferred

Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience Required: 1 year of previous experience preferred but not required.
* Licensure/Certification: RQI Responder - must obtain within 90 days of hire, required.
* Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
