Revenue Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing revenue and margin reporting within the organization. This position requires curiosity paired with strong analytical skills to support the finance organization to identify revenue/margin trends and collaborate across teams to optimize performance. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for providing insights on key revenue drivers, product margin profiles, and assisting in forecasting and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

* Revenue Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and report on revenue, COGS & gross margin performance across various dental & medical revenue streams. Prepare regular financial reports detailing revenue and margin trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variances from budget/forecast. Evaluate and report on patient production, collections and other revenue cash flows. Identify and report on potential areas of revenue leakage or inefficiencies.

* Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist FP&A in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to revenue & gross margin. Track and analyze revenue and margin projections and assist in adjusting forecasts as needed to reflect actual performance.

* Data & Trend Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends in patient volume, billing cycles, and reimbursement patterns. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to accelerate practice growth and improve profitability.

* Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with PDS Regional Finance and Accounting teams to ensure smooth accurate reporting each month. Assist in reviewing and improving internal processes to enhance revenue collection and compliance. Provide support in the resolution of revenue-related issues and questions from the field and leadership team.

* Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. Coordinate with accounting to ensure that all revenue recognition practices comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant experience.

* 4+ years of professional experience, including  3+ years of experience in a financial analysis or revenue cycle role.

* Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, billing, coding, and healthcare reimbursements.

Preferred

* Experience in a Dental Service Organization (DSO) or healthcare-related environment.

* Familiarity with dental insurance payers and claims processing.

* Proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting tools. Anaplan experience is a plus.

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, or SAP) is a plus.
