Responsibilities:
As an Analyst with Hines, you will assist senior management and will receive broad-based exposure to all aspects of real estate investment and development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: underwriting, feasibility studies, due diligence, business development, development management, asset management, debt, and dispositions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acquisitions / Development / New Business
* Evaluation of investments including underwriting, research, due diligence, and transaction management.
* Support in new business development opportunities by providing analytical and execution support.
* Feasibility analysis, design, marketing and construction of development projects.
* Prepare acquisition/development updates and coordinate reporting to shareholders/investors.
* Produce investment committee materials and assist senior management with investment committee presentations.
Asset Management
* Participate in asset management of existing properties overseeing leasing, capital projects, tenant relations and investor relations.
* Prepare and track project budgets and schedules for significant variances.
* Manage the leasing of the assets, including dealing with leasing brokers, tenants
* Serve as liaison and connector across the various work groups, project consultants, tenants, government authorities, property managers
* Serve as a member of various project teams as required to facilitate company needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
* Two or more years related experience in real estate (preferable) or in a financial analysis role.
* Strong financial and analytical skills capable of undertaking detailed analyses and make well-reasoned, decisive recommendations.
* Fluent in English. Other languages such as Mandarin or other business language used in Southeast Asia would be a plus.
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
* Think creatively.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
* Speak before an audience with confidence, using appropriate communication skills/style.
* Establish and maintain a cooperative working atmosphere.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel software.
