What You'll Need to be Successful
Avalara is looking for an Analyst who has the understanding of the transactions on the Sales and Use form, and file tax returns for US states.
Must be a supporting member of the Professional Services team, ensuring client returns are filed.
You will report to the Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
* Willing to work in 24/7 environment.
* Experience / knowledge in sales tax domain would be preferred.
* 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
* Knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Excel is a must
* Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent logical, analytical skills along with organizational skills and team player
* Strong attention to detail as we work with timelines and have financial implications
* Experience of tracking tools like Salesforce & Atlassian Jira
* MBA in Finance would be preferred
Qualifications:
* You have 3+ years' of experience in Tax returns and fillings.
* Have Sales and Use tax experience in filing.
* Team player ready to work in 24/7 environment following business requirement.
* Good to have - experience in sales and use tax domain.
