Overview:
The Analyst, Innovations supports research, analysis, and process improvement initiatives across clinical, dental, and medical environments. The role offers hands-on experience with agile and IT services methodologies while contributing to strategic healthcare technology projects that support clinical transformation and patient care innovation.
Responsibilities
* Conduct product and market research to support the development of emerging clinical technologies in dental and medical fields.
* Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translating insights into actionable recommendations and project deliverables.
* Document and optimize business workflows to improve clinical and operational efficiency.
* Support agile teams as a Scrum Master-in-training, with structured training in Agile/Scrum and ITIL fundamentals.
* Contribute to continuous service improvement by applying ITIL concepts in daily operations.
* Track progress across multiple innovation programs and pilots using portfolio management tools.
* Create executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and impact.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, compliance, and clinical teams.
* Translate complex business needs to clear, actionable documentation including user stories, process flows, and business requirements.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience.
* 4+ years of experience in related field.
Preferred
* Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field of study from an accredited college or university.
* Experience in healthcare, dental, medical or retail industry.
* Experience working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
* Exposure to or coursework in Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or project management.
* Familiarity with program or portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana).
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Ability to develop business metrics, requirements, and user acceptance test scripts.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments/teams, adapt to change, and act reliably.
* Ability to think strategically with the ability to drive tactical execution.
* Passion for innovation and commitment to healthcare impact.
* Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
* Demonstrated effective time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences across various mediums.
* Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Open to constructive feedback and able to contribute constructively to team discussions.
* Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
