				Overview:

NFL Legends, Your Next Chapter Starts Here - Join the American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is proud to partner with the NFL Player Care Foundation to help Legends explore meaningful second careers. We've seen firsthand how the leadership, discipline, and community spirit developed on the field translate seamlessly into success within our Development (Sales/Fundraising) teams across the nation.

This role is more than fundraising - it's about driving impact. As a fundraiser at the American Heart Association, you'll engage in a dynamic mix of activities-from planning mission-driven events and recruiting passionate volunteers to cultivating donor relationships and sharing the impact of our work. Depending on your role and campaign, you might spend your day meeting with community or corporate leaders, organizing a Heart Walk, or crafting a compelling pitch to a prospective donor. Success comes from your ability to connect authentically, adapt with agility, and stay focused on our lifesaving mission. It's fast-paced, goal-oriented, and deeply rewarding.

Our Development roles include remote, in-person, and hybrid work types, depending on the unique job.

We offer a competitive base salary and the opportunity to earn significantly more through performance-based incentive pay. You'll also have access to Heart U, our award-winning corporate university, and a culture that supports work-life harmony.

#TheAHALife is more than a company culture-it's our way of life. Discover why you'll Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Valued(tm) at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and at heart.jobs.

If you're ready to bring your passion, influence, and drive to a new arena - one where every win supports a healthier future - this is your next play. Since our founding in 1924, we've cut cardiovascular disease deaths in half-but there's more to do. To overcome today's biggest health challenges, we need passionate individuals like you.
