Responsibilities: To provide patient care under the supervision of RN in the ambulatory surgery setting. * Assist with patient ADL's and daily care * Communicates and supports with healthcare team and patients' family and/or significant others * Maintains and demonstrates high standards of ethics * Performs technical duties as directed by RN ex: Vital signs, POC testing, EKG, Foley cath care documents appropriately * Attends staff meetings * Assist in admissions, transfers and discharges from Units * Handling of clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks * Maintains work knowledge and regulatory standards * Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills * Performance of excellent customer service skills
