Responsibilities: Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on airport projects starting May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026 based at our office in Indianapolis, IN. The intern will be responsible for assisting engineers with various airport projects that include performing the following: * Design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates * Performing field inspection, documentation, and survey work * Program administration * Technical research and writing * Other tasks as assigned. A valid driver's license and about 75% travel, including some overnights, will be required. The successful candidate must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering, civil technology, electrical engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following: * Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Civil3D software * Construction Field Experience including observation and documentation * Survey tasks * Civil/survey engineering coursework If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
