				Overview:

This Position is physically located in Iraq

This position shall manage packing material supplies(cargo nets, straps, etc.) and maintain accountability of these items to ensure sufficient shipping materiel is available for transportation requirements. Supervisor is required to run the Intra-theater Airlift Request System (ITARS) required for booking flights destined to Iraq. The transportation supervisor will also be the administrator for CMOS system and to run In-transit visibility systems as required. The supervisor shall plan, direct, and coordinate the full range of activities associated with shipping and transportation, and process documents pertaining to the shipment of up to 5,000 lines of medical items to include all information pertaining to the movement of the product according to customer requirements

Responsibilities:

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.  

* The Supervisor shall write Radio Frequency (RF) tags and Tracking Control Movement Documents (TCMD) for all Air Mobility Command shipments. This includes all refrigerated (refer), hazmat, and general cargo pieces. 
* The Supervisor shall access and utilize the In-Transit Visibility (ITV) and Cargo Movement Operation System (CMOS) or other similar future tracking systems to provide timely shipment status and delivery confirmations. 
* Shall have a thorough regulatory and procedural knowledge of material management and shipping operations and the automated supply system, TEWLS. The transportation supervisor shall have a good working knowledge of procurement, receipt, storage shipping and distribution of non-standard supply items. Shall coordinate and work cooperatively with commercial and military transportation services and within the transportation systems to prepare, pack, and ship medical materiel in accordance with customers' needs.
* Working knowledge of the transportation of biological wastes, infectious wastes, radiological wastes, and HM. Shall train and certify Soldiers and civilians on storing and handling of hazardous/flammable material. The supervisor must maintain updated Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) addressing flammable/hazardous material. The Contractor shall maintain current knowledge of flammable/hazardous material handling guidelines, keep abreast of, and implement latest procedural changes in storing and handling flammable/hazardous material. 
* Receive requests for issue of items (Transfer Orders) and check item identification codes in TEWLS for completeness and correctness in order to properly identify and pick items. The supervisor shall compile, pack, and mark items for shipment/issue ensuring compliance with supporting documentation with 100% accuracy.
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

* High School Diploma.
* Associates/Bachelors is preferred.
* Must have current U.S. Drivers License. 

Experience:

* One (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience.
* Should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products (i.e. Power Point, Word, Excel). 
* Administrative and customer service training and experience a must. Hazmat qualified

Working Conditions:

Must be capable of working in an extreme weather condition with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

Physical Requirements:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
