Overview:
This Position is Physically Located in Iraq, Balad
Under supervision of the Air Operations Director and/or Task Order Manager, the Air Operations Manager is responsible for both air traffic and ground operations control. They take care of the scheduling and discuss it with the in-flight departments. The Air Operations Managers may handle scheduling of pilot or crew trainings as well as the filing of background checks and medical reports.

* Responsible for looking out for all the operations of the department.
* Assists in interviewing and hiring of potential staff and crew.
* He/she may make the schedule for all flights, including schedules of the pilots, flight attendants and the crew.
* Oversee the modification done to the airports where their aircrafts are to land. This is for the pilots and crew to be prepared for landing.
* Must also see to it that all flights comply with the rules, regulations and standards of the FAA.
* Involves himself/herself with researching for making their processes better.

Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Experience:
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Air Operations.
* Skills:
* Must read, write, and speak English fluently
* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
* Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
* Physical Requirements:
* Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
