Responsibilities:
Support sales and operations planning process for Sazerac aged spirits. Work with sales and marketing to develop long range forecasts by brand. Create long range supply plans to support demand forecast. Work with the Sazerac CITE team, Sazerac distilleries, third party distilleries and others to ensure we have aged spirits available to support our long range supply plan. Ensure we have adequate processes and systems in place to support.
o Lead sales and operations planning process for Sazerac aged spirits. Work with sales and marketing to develop long range forecasts by brand. Create long range supply plan to support demand forecast. Work with the Sazerac CITE team, Sazerac distilleries, third party distilleries and others to ensure we have aged spirits available to support our long range supply plan. Ensure we have adequate processes and systems in place to support the demand and supply planning of aged spirits as Sazerac continues to grow.
o Provide direction on which lots of barrels to drain to support bottling plans. Ensure these bottling plans are in line with the short and long range aged spirits supply plans.
o Ensure our aged sprits demand and supply plans support our strategic growth plans for our priority brands while maintaining consistent quantity. Make sure we have barrels available for our target brands that are the right recipes and right age. Provide distillation, barrel warehousing, and draining plans to finance for budgeting and financial planning.
o Continuously improve our strategic planning process for aged spirits. Ensure we have the right tools in place to do this well and efficiently. Support the continuous improvement activities at our distilleries and warehouses by providing a seamless transition of strategic plans to tactical plans.
o Delight customers by having quality aged spirits available to exceed their expectations. Provide direction to allocation manager when a supply constraint occurs so that we can clearly communicate allocation expectations to our distributors and fans.
o As a key member of the strategic planning team, develop a working environment that attracts, retains and motivates high performing talent. Understand the elements of the culture survey and continually look to develop a culture that supports key questions. Provide guidance and direction to planning personnel and others throughout the Sazerac distilling and manufacturing network.
o Improve at least one skill per year as agreed with manager that will lead to improved job performance; perform at a level to achieve position outcomes. Drive greater PDS leverage across the planning team and the company to improve overall engagement and improvement.
o Develop a Career plan for myself that will allow me to achieve my overall career objectives. Continue to work on existing career development plans that have been previously set up. Help develop and support career plans for planning personnel throughout the Sazerac distilling and manufacturing network.
o Support our distillation and warehousing operations by ensuring the barrel model and strategic aged whiskey planning processes are providing the right information to allow our distillation and planning teams to create production plans that are executable and that balance inventory carrying cost with plant efficiencies. Work with the distillation and warehousing teams to ensure we have the appropriate distillation and warehousing capacity to efficiently support our aged sprits strategic plans.
o Support technologies that will improve our ability to track barrels, particularly the ability to assign "Future Anticipated Use" to each barrel to aid in the creation of a master barrel supply plan. Protect our priority brands by using this technology to prevent barrels from being dumped for the wrong brand.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mathmatics, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
* Quick learner with strong systems/process aptitude
Preferred:
* MBA
* 5 years of experience with manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS)
Additional:
* Must be able to travel up to 25%
* Valid passport required
