Overview: Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients seeking weight management support, including medical history, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic studies. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, incorporating nutrition, exercise, behavioral modifications, and pharmacotherapy as appropriate. * Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed. * Educate patients and families on weight management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of maintaining a healthy weight. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including dietitians, psychologists, and other medical professionals, to provide holistic care to patients. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. * Participate in outreach programs to promote awareness about obesity and weight management resources in the community. * Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in weight management and obesity care.
