Responsibilities:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications:
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an electrical engineer for Undersea Mission Solutions, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design, simulation, testing, and validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including PCB layout, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering to bring products from concept to production.

* Power electronics design experience
* Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity
* Familiarity with firmware/hardware integration
* Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT)
What you'll experience:
* Design and develop analog and digital circuits for new products and system enhancements
* Perform schematic capture and collaborate with PCB layout engineers
* Conduct simulations and circuit analysis using tools such as SPICE, LTspice, or PSpice
* Evaluate and select electronic components for performance, cost, and availability
* Build and test prototypes; troubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and EMC/EMI requirements
* Support design verification, validation testing, and regulatory certification processes
* Document designs, specifications, and test reports
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing
What sets you apart:
* Proficiency with schematic capture and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, etc.)
* Solid understanding of analog and digital design principles
* Experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc.)
* Ability to read and interpret datasheets, technical documents, and standards
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
