Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

The Advanced Production Test and Troubleshooting Engineer in the Torpdeo Systems Group is responsible for applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to develop, test, and implement electrical components, equipment, and systems. The role involves participating in requirements analysis, design, integration, and verification processes, as well as supporting technical reviews and root cause analysis. The Engineer works within defined processes and collaborates with project leaders, program managers, and external customers.

1) Component-Level Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
* Diagnose failures on analog, digital, power, RF, and mixed-signal circuits.
* Use oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, thermal cameras, etc.
* Isolate failures to the component, assembly, or system level.
2) Automated Test System Development
* Design, integrate, and maintain production test equipment.
* Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, NI hardware, PXI, data acquisition, instrumentation, and custom test fixtures.
* Develop test strategies that improve throughput and defect detection.
3) Systems Integration & Verification
* Bring up complex electronic systems and troubleshoot interface issues.
* Experience with hardware/software integration, communication protocols (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS-422/485), and environmental testing.
* Validate requirements and investigate intermittent failures.
Required Skills:
* Expert-level component and system-level troubleshooting with demonstrated root cause analysis experience.
* Experience developing, maintaining, and improving automated production test systems and test fixtures.
* Proven ability to integrate, verify, and debug complex electronic systems in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Support production lines, analyze yield issues, perform corrective actions, review schematics, and drive continuous improvement.
