Overview: Responsibilities: Communicates with customers and/or health care professionals to gather personal, demographic, financial, insurance and equipment information required to complete registration for outpatient, inpatient or equipment services, medical records, and insurance certification, verification, and billing/claim submission. Coordinates activities and processes and acts as an expert resource to maintain quality admissions services. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * High School graduate or GED equivalent * Excellent communication and keyboarding skills * Displays ability to prioritize and organize tasks. * Considerable knowledge of healthcare registration procedures, medical terminology and diagnostic procedures, and insurance certification requirements
