Overview: AbbeHealth- Penn Center is seeking a Administrative Secretary/Activities Specialist to add to our team! Monday-Friday Days! Responsibilities: Receives and routes calls to appropriate person or takes messages when necessary. Schedules prescribers and clinician's appointments. Handles cash, processes credit card payments, writes receipts and balances cash box. Makes confirmation calls for scheduled appointments. Enters required client data into the Electronic Health Record. Other related duties as assigned. May be cross-trained to other support functions as appropriate Orient new residents to unit programing and activities Organize and provide materials for activities on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual treatment plans Complete documentation on an on-going basis Serve as a liaison between community and residents for coordinating resident participation in special events Provide direction and intervention to ensure resident safety on activities within the community. Assist residents in identifying and implementing leisure activities available in the community. Assist in special event planning and implementation Provide 1:1 interaction with residents Qualifications: Education High School or Vocational School graduate. Qualifications/Experience Multi-line phone experience, clerical experience, data entry and knowledge of office methods/procedures.
