POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an OSF Vice President, Director and/or Department Manager. Maintains the leader(s) calendar, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts and makes travel arrangements. Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects as assigned. Prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a high level of competence and professionalism including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School diploma/GED
* 2 years of secretary and/or administrative experience
Other skills/knowledge
* Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Proficient with email and calendaring systems
* Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork
* Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate's Degree
* Working knowledge of MS Project and OneNote
* Licensure/certification: Office Professional Certification
