Observability and Automation Platforms Administrator

Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote
How a day to day would look like in this role:
* Observability Platform Administration: Install, configure, maintain, and update observability platforms.
* Alert Management and Optimization: Configure effective alert rules aligned with business priorities and adjust thresholds and conditions to reduce false positives and anticipate critical failures.
* Incident Analysis and Diagnosis: Use logs, metrics, and distributed traceability tools to identify root causes of technical incidents or operational failures, document findings, and recommend preventive actions based on the analysis.
* Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation related to tool configurations, integrations, changes, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Profile: Systems Technologist/Engineer or related field with extensive experience in managing and optimizing monitoring and observability tools, with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and collaboration with technical teams.
Required skills:
* Previous experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
* Knowledge of alert management, threshold definition, and incident response.
* Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and traceability for root cause analysis.
* Experience automating operational tasks to improve efficiency.
* Ability to document technical processes and integrations.
