Overview:
We are a national multi-branded title insurance company that has become an industry leader by combining direct closing and residential title service with vendor management networks throughout the country. We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Full Time Accounting Clerk/Assistant remote position. The Accounting Assistant will be assigned various duties which include reconciling several high volume escrow bank accounts, review and/or initiate high volumes of wire transfers, approve real estate contracts and earnest money escrow funds, record and transfer daily revenue, setting up title expense payments, and other various accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
Ideal candidates will be hard working, detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills coupled with a strong work ethic. Experience working with title companies or in the mortgage industry is a plus.
Qualifications:
* Associates degree or higher
* Detailed oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and to adhere to departmental procedures
* Demonstrate strong customer service abilities
* Title Company/Real Estate: 1 year
* Accounting: 1 year
The expected salary range for this role is $60,000/year.
